Aquilon C and Aquilon C+ are fully modular and scalable 4K/8K multi-screen presentation systems and videowall processors, that can be configured to accommodate a variety of connectivity arrangements and match your source and display requirements:
  • Aquilon C is based on a 4RU chassis that can be populated with up to sixteen 4K60p inputs and up to sixteen 4K60p outputs.
  • Aquilon C+ is based on a 5RU chassis that can be populated with up to twenty-four 4K60p inputs and up to twenty 4K60p outputs.
Both system can also host one or more VPU as well as one or more IPU.
A VPU card contains the video processing to handle the layers and Program outputs. Each VPU can handle up to eight Dual/2K or four 4K mixing layers and can handle up to eight Dual/2K or four 4K Program outputs. The number of VPU installed determines the maximum number of layers available in the system as well as the maximum number of Program outputs you can use to create screen destinations:
  • 0 VPU installed : No layer and no Program output possible (scaled AUX outputs only)
  • 1 VPU installed : up to 4x 4K or 8x Dual/2K mixing layers depending on screens setup, and up 4x 4K60 or 8x Dual/2K60 Program outputs
  • 2 VPU installed : up to 8x 4K or 16x Dual/2K mixing layers depending on screens setup, and up 8x 4K60 or 16x Dual/2K60 Program outputs
  • 3 VPU installed : up to 12x 4K or 24x Dual/2K mixing layers depending on screens setup, and up 12x 4K60 or 20x Dual/2K60 Program outputs
An IPU card contains the image processing to handle concurrent still images (backgrounds, pictures, logos, ...). Each IPU can handle up to twenty-four Dual/2K or twelve 4K still images. The number of IPU determines the maximum number of concurrent still images available in the system.
  • 0 IPU installed : still images not supported
  • 1 IPU installed : up to 12x 4K or 24x Dual/2K concurrent still images
  • 2 IPU installed : up to 24x 4K or 48x Dual/2K concurrent still images
