Alta 4K units are designed and manufactured in France, like the rest of Analog Way's product range. Designated Alta 4K products are also certified by Analog Way as compliant with the U.S. Trade Agreements Act (TAA, 19 U.S.C. §§ 2501-2581).

Both Zenith 100 and Zenith 200 share the same rugged 19-inch rack-mount chassis, 3RU in height, with a cleanable dust filter.

On both models, outputs support up to 4K60 8-bit 4:4:4 or 12-bit 4:2:2 (HDMI™) and up to 4K60 10-bit 4:2:2 (SDI/SFP+), with custom output formats up to 4096 (Zenith 100) or 8192 (Zenith 200) pixels in width/height.

The SFP+ cages on Alta 4K's outputs are compatible with Analog Way's fiber optic SFP modules or ST 2110 SFP modules, for long-distance signal transport or IP connectivity. Only the output (TX) side of Alta 4K has SFP+ connectivity – there is no SFP-based input option on Zenith 100 or Zenith 200.

Yes. Every Alta 4K unit (both Zenith 100 and Zenith 200) has one dedicated multiviewer output (1x HDMI™ 1.4 + 1x mirrored 3G-SDI), at resolutions up to 2560x1600@60 8-bit 4:2:2. Alta 4K supports 200 user-definable screen memories plus 50 master memories, along with an innovative “Quick Preset” feature for fast recall of common configurations.

Up to 4 concurrent 4K still images per screen for the background layer, with alpha-channel support, plus an additional still image foreground layer available on all screens. Images are stored in a 50-slot still image library, and can be imported/exported via Web RCS or captured directly from a live input or output.

Yes, at the signal level. Each unit has a dedicated Genlock BNC input plus a loop-through connector, so the same tri-level sync or Black Burst reference signal can be daisy-chained to additional units – keeping them frame-locked even though each remains independently configured and controlled.

The choice comes down to scale: Zenith 200 offers more inputs (16 vs. 13), more outputs (6 vs. 4), more PGM/Auxiliary screen capacity, more layers (up to 8 split vs. 6 split), and a larger custom format ceiling (8192 vs. 4096 pixels). No. Web RCS is embedded in every unit; the unit's IP address just needs to be entered into a web browser for the interface to load automatically.

Yes. The free AW Alta 4K Simulator (available for Windows and macOS on Analog Way's website) allows any Alta 4K model to be configured and rehearsed offline, ahead of a show or for training purposes. A show prepared on the simulator can then be exported and imported directly onto a real unit, making it easy to build and refine a configuration in advance and deploy it on-site without starting from scratch.

Each unit provides I/O connector status LEDs for quick troubleshooting, along with live monitoring of inputs directly on the built-in color TFT LCD display.
