The Oculus at Houston's Airport: Immersive AV Powered by Aquilon

At Terminal E of Houston's Intercontinental Airport (IAH), travelers are welcomed by the Oculus, a spectacular 220-foot curved LED video wall suspended between the Arrivals and Departures levels at an impressive 60-degree angle.
Combining architectural innovation, complex engineering, and real-time visual content, the installation delivers a truly immersive experience for millions of international passengers each year.
Aquilon at the heart of the experience
At the core of this ambitious project is the Analog Way Aquilon video processor, managing the highly complex and nonstandard resolutions required by the curved LED canvas.
Ford AV designed and integrated the infrastructure, including the AV systems, equipment racks, and content management ecosystem supporting the Oculus experience.
